For example, when construction is completed, motorists who exit eastbound I-595 at Flamingo Road may choose to travel to the intersection, or, “bypass” the intersection and merge with traffic east of the intersection on S.R. 84. ramp; widening the existing westbound bridge over Hiatus Road to the north and the south to accommodate three toll lanes and four westbound lanes; widening of the existing eastbound bridge over Hiatus Road to the south; new eastbound braidedA braided ramp is a traffic solution to eliminate weaving in a highway system. It coordinates two sequential ramps, where an entrance ramp passes over or under an exit ramp using an overpass structure.
Weaving is an undesirable situation where traffic entering and exiting the mainline must cross or “weave” paths within a limited distance to get to a desired lane or ramp. ramps on both the west and east side of the Hiatus Road intersection; a westbound bypass A bypass ramp is a single lane bridge that allows traffic exiting the mainline to split from the traditional exit ramp and travel above traffic to exit beyond the intersection.
