The Florida Department of Transportation’s mission is to provide a safe transportation system that ensures the mobility of people and goods, enhances economic prosperity and preserves the quality of our environment and communities.  We plan to provide a safe and effective transportation system on I-595 during construction by ensuring mobility, a timely completion of the project, a high quality project and customer satisfaction.  We plan to monitor these five key areas to measure the performance of the Concessionaire throughout the life of the project and will provide our findings during construction on this website.
