I-595 EXPRESS CORRIDOR TRAFFIC IMPACT REPORT: March 7 - March 13, 2010

One eastbound lane of S.R. 84 will have a rolling lane closure between I-75 and Flamingo Road, nightly, from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., beginning Sunday, March 7 and ending on Thursday morning, March 11.

One westbound lane of S.R. 84 will have a rolling lane closure between I-75 and Flamingo Road, nightly, from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., beginning Wednesday, March 10 and ending on Friday morning, March 12.

One lane of eastbound S.R.84 will be closed through the intersection of Pine Island Road, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., daily, beginning Monday, March 8 and ending Friday, March 12.

The designated u-turn from eastbound S.R. 84 to westbound S.R. 84 at Pine Island Road will be closed beginning Monday, February 22 at 9 p.m. through early fall 2010 to begin major roadway construction. Motorists will still be able to make the u-turn movement through the intersection.

The inside westbound lane of S.R. 84 between Nob Hill Road and Pine Island Road will be closed from 9:30 p.m. on March 14 to 5 a.m. on March 15. Westbound S.R. 84 west of Pine Island Road will undergo a full closure from 1 a.m. to 2 a.m. to remove an overhead sign structure. Westbound S.R. 84 through traffic will be detoured at Pine Island Road to Broward Boulevard during the closure.

A portion of the sidewalk along northbound Nob Hill Road between S.R. 84 and Torchwood Avenue will be closed beginning Monday, February 8 and ending Friday, March 26. An escort will be available to assist pedestrians through the closure during working hours; a pedestrian walkway will be maintained during nonworking hours.
MPS3D, a utility engineering and technology company, will be collecting measurements between I-75 and Flamingo Road for the I-595 Express Project. Dragados USA is installing the foundation for a pedestrian bridge on Broward County’s Greenway path near Nob Hill Road and surveying ramps throughout the corridor. Bergeron Land Development, Inc. will be excavating near Pine Island Road.
